Fransix Free is a Nigerian born artist who started singing in the church choir at the tender age of 12.
His father a teacher in English language as well as a choir master and his mother a village dancer both saw the artist in
him quite early and encouraged him to follow his dreams.
Singing in the church choir for him was like being part of the angelic choir of paradise, but he always felt there was more he could do in other to forge ahead in his choosing field of endeavour.
He went into dancing believing music and dance goes hand in hand. African Heritage dance company was the medium which made this possible.
Under the umbrella of African Heritage, he received a 4yr training in indigenous and modern African contemporary dance, which plays a very strong roll in the sort of artist he has emerged.
Meanwhile he collaborated with some high school friends to form the band: "Blue Six" a band which strictly played cover songs by African artists. He then became the lead singer of another band the G note where he developed his song writing skills as well as his showmanship.
Still with the dance company African Heritage, he travelled all over Africa and Europe, performing to the delight of people all around the globe.
Touching the hearts of people with his soul searching melodies for him, is a dream come true .
